As the advance continued successfully and threatened to pocket several Soviet armored formations, elements of the Soviet 241st Rifle Division attempted to hold the road open for withdrawing units. The Grossdeutschland panzers raced to intercept the retreating Soviet tanks.
Objectives: Your company will continue to move south to engage enemy armor moving east along the road. Your platoon forms the left flank of the company battleline, and will move south to the objective, cutting off the retreat path of the enemy. Be aware of enemy antitank positions due south of your jump off positions. If any enemy escapes east across the river, your platoon may move to pursue.
